Job Description

Our company specializes in the maintenance, repair, servicing, and modernization of medium voltage electrical distribution equipment.

Your typical day will include:
- Assisting technicians in completing service mandates and on-site work for clients
- Intervening in power electricity to resolve technical issues in emergency calls
- Conducting electrical and mechanical tests, repairs, and maintenance on high voltage equipment (switches, circuit breakers, transformers, control cabinets)
- Occasionally performing workshop tasks (control wiring, electrical tests on power equipment, transformer repairs)
- Managing various technical mandates for clients
- Drafting technical reports
You have the following profile:
✔ Hold a Diploma of College Studies (DCS) or Vocational Studies Diploma (DEP) in electrotechnology
✔ Hold a Class 5 driver's license
If you have the following knowledge, we consider it an asset:

Your typical day will include:
- Performing coordination, harmonic, short-circuit, and arc flash studies
- Conducting load profile measurements and studies on electrical disturbances (transient phenomena)
- Participating in heating, dielectric, and partial discharge tests on medium voltage electrical equipment
- Sizing various equipment for an electrical network (transformers, switching equipment, protection relays, etc.)
- Selecting protection relays and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment
- Being responsible for the design, development, and planning of equipment modification projects
- Engineering plan design
- Participating in the development of service offerings and cost estimates for various client requests
- Drafting technical reports
- Analyzing electrical circuits
You have the following profile:
✔ Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
✔ Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or be registered as a candidate in the engineering profession (CPI) by the OIQ.
If you have the following knowledge, we consider it an asset:
✔ Familiarity with the Quebec Electrical Code
✔ Completion of the construction site health and safety course (ASP)
✔ Experience in low and medium voltage distribution equipment.
✔ Familiarity with EasyPower software
